NC State (a/k/a Moo U) is moving up, but lacks depth on the team. Lowe seems to be a good motivator, but it's too soon to see if he can recruit or if he can coach well enough to pull out a win in close games.
My prediction is that NC State will finish no higher than 4th.
1. UNC (of course)
2. Va. Tech
3. Duke (great incoming freshmen)
4. NC State
5. Wake Forest
My predictions will probably change depending on the players going early to the NBA.

Well first of all I am a Tar Heel fan, born in Wilson NC, but anyway, I think NC State has a chance of finishing 4th or 5th, they really don't have a bench though and those guys play hellified minutes, but do you remember when they had Chris Corchiani and Rodney Monroe, those were the days.

Unfortuantely, it looks bleak. The reason that NCS played so poorly all season was because of Atsur's injury. Once he came back, they were one of the best teams in the ACC, unfortunately, he's graduating... which means they won't be as good as most would expect from this late season push. However, McCauley and Cosner are solid, they just need to find a good Guard, because their front line is solid!

i think they wont be too much better they havent added any new pieces that can make them a better team.
