I ve traveled & lived in alot of places & i will say Americans both black & white are the MOST RACISTS people i ve ever met. They always worry about what people think about them when they are dating someone outside their race.4 heavens sake even the Germans re not that racist.i lived in Europe & people there don't care who you re sleeping with.Even south africans who ve a much more painful history of black & white fights are moving on together as one. It's beautiful to go to South Africa & see how much further they ve come working & living side by side as a human race &trying to let by gones be gones(bare in mind apartheid there ended in 1990).Let God do the punishing.God will judge the evil doners..
I'm sick of people trying to make me feel guilty for hanging with people outside my race. And i'm sick of some white people wondering why i'm not bitter.why should i be.it's sad.The sad thing is even the young ones are racist both black & white grow up. Remember this land is a free for all.

I mean you guys are basically handing this country to us foreigners cause all you do is fight eachother while some of us progress and take advantage of the opportunities and then you will wonder why foreigners will take charge.. Instead of fighting pay attention to passing in school... Why are foreigners doing much better than american students. If you are not careful this country will no longer be the greatest. Greatness of this country lies in your differences that you should embrace. The world adores the America they see on T.V because television shows that americans get along but once we arrive here we realise it's all a lie. There is a WAR within America.

What you have to understand is that many people in this country have never even been outside of their own state. So, just as Europeans (i have lived there as well), have their own notion as to how people in the states act and live, we are fed here by our own media and how "race" plays a huge part in all aspects of our music, movies, etc.

There are many issues surrounding racism in this country. First of all, i think most people have different opinions and thoughts on this depending on where they are in the country as well as upbringing.

For those who are outright racists, they are the ones who fail to realize that it should be a question of whether or not a person is "good or bad" not the color of his/her skin.

However, i doubt it is going to change drastically anytime soon. We can only start within our own family's, work/school places and our community.

The fact that you are aware, and make others aware, is a start in itself.

It's a racial phenomenon that some people have dubbed the Devil's Guilt. White people are raised to feel ashamed of their race and heritage because they represent the slave-owners of the distant past, even though it's a slim minority of them that actually have slave-owning ancestors- the vast majority of people, racist or not, did not own slaves. Blacks, on the other hand, have a lot of hate bred into them, partially due to the violent methods preached by certain violent radicals like Brown. Black people who don't harbor that hate are considered feeble sell-outs to their race, but that's somewhat understandable, due to the obviously massive effects of racism as it affects us every day. Average economic prosperity makes a surprisingly consistent descent from White man to White woman to Black man to Black woman to Hispanic man to Hispanic woman, and minorities represent a hugely disproportionate amount of prisoners, showing a growing lack of proportion as the sentence becomes more and more grave.
In any case, it's less simple to hate than to resolve, and it seems that Americans are willing to take the simple way out no matter the cost.

I dont know about over there in the US but over here in Australia - we do have the same problem

even though it is very multicultural these days - there tends to be more racism from every ethnic group

and yes I totally agree I have noticed that people are becoming more racist and greedy for $$$$ and not to mention violent

SO WHERE IS THE LOVE????

We are complete idiots! Greed, stupidity, bigotry and envy drive this country. It's get paid and put your knee on any ones neck that gets in your way. The real shame is it's the people with the power that are keeping the poor down trodden blacks and whites at each others throats!

I don't view it that way. I personally wouldn't date outside my race simply because I'm only attracted to my own. I have no problem with others dating other races.

I agree, Americans are becoming worse everyday. Just look at our women, can't keep their legs closed and are all about divorce.
