Is it because of the conservative politicians like Reagan and Bush coming into power & pressurizing people into believing that non-committed sex is immoral, or is it because of the spread of STDs?

What is your say on this issue?

I haven't noticed a difference in people's attitude about sex. Men still want it, and women still use it. With-holding is the primrose path to marriage for a well-endowed woman.

Beliefs in sex have changed off and on throughout history. This has gone since the beginning of civilization. Next time an ultra conservative starts spouting off to you about traditional family values you might remind them that the most common forms the family has take has been one man and many women or having a lover besides your spouse.

Good Lord I feel sorry for anyone who would even think that politics are affecting our sex lives. Hopefully it's because with the free love movement came a lot of unwanted realities and we are wiser and know that there are consequences to our actions, like STDs and AIDs, not to mention babies.
