i heard that you can use it to put over small cracks in leather, like a chair, to help prevent further damage. do you think that it could also be used on leather shoes, or shoes with some other leather like material, becuase my the material on my shoes keeps getting all these little cracks in it, and they just get bigger over time. should i try putting crazy glue over some of those problem spots?

i wasn't sure where to put this question, so i'm just putting it in home and garden, sorry if it's wrong.

Hey Jen.....Love your avatar...I would try it, I mean what have you got to lose....clear nail polish can also be used for that type of problem.....sounds like the glue may be a better way to go...just don't get it on your fingers...what a mess....good luck.

I would not use Krazy Glue on leather shoes or any other fine leather. Try "Leather Lotion" you can find it at basically any shoe store. Cracks happen when leather gets hard. Leather lotion helps keep leather soft therefore no cracks. Give that a try before you ruin something you love. Just be sure to read and follow the instructions.

HI, I don't think I would use it. They do make a leather repair kit,or if your shoes are real leather, use saddle soap and a leather conditioner. Sounds like they might be cracking because the leather is drying out.Find a shoe repair shop, there you'll be able to find the right kind of product to use to prevent that from happening.Bye..Oh by the way, I use Vaseline petroleum on my leather gloves, they are very very old, and fit your hands like second skin.I also put lotion on them to keep them from drying out, after all, leather is real skin.
