if i buy a cellphone from asia or some other country will it work here in the u.s.?

some GSM phones from other countries can work with Cingular and T-Mobile, but you might need to get it unlocked first.

I don't think so... but i have a feeling it would cost a lot of money to get it work here in the us if you still decide to buy one from asia

it'll work alright.. but only if you have the service from the U.S.
