Okay so this is my story:
My friend told me that this dude (I am going to call him Matthew..) is goiing to ask me out tomorrow in HOMEROOM. And we are talking about this REALLY annoying kid.. he is kinda weird.. but he's nice. (not cute at all in my ops) anyways... I REALLY dont wana hurt his feelings cuz I hate doing that. Plus there is a bunch of popular kids sitting around me in Homeroom... they r gonna start laughing or sumthing!! This is seventh grade, people... =[[ Not really into the whole dating thing yet (but yes i like sum1) & I already asked my mom If i could come to school late and she's like "No... why?" and im like.. uhh nevermind. So yeah.
WHAT DO I DO. PLEASE HELP. I DONT WANT TO HURT HIS FEELINGS!!! =[

Don't be a chicken, but keep an eye out for him before class starts and talk to him just outside the door. Tell him you heard he was planning on asking you out and you wanted to know if it was true. Then carry on the conversation on from there. If he says yes, tell him you're sorry and you aren't interested in dating right now. If he says no, tell him you're sorry about the trouble and you'll see him in class. Good lucK!

Just let him know you like him as a friend and all but that you are interested in someone else. Tell him you still would like to be friends,just because someone is not that great looking does not mean he don't have a nice personality or a big heart. Just say sorry but, no thanks. Make him feel good that he at least tried. If your friends laugh just say, guess I'm hotter, or more popular or something. You might want to tell them that you didn't wanna hurt his feelings so you said what you said. If you avoid him, he might try and ask later...oh yeah...you could try saying were only in 7th grade, and not really in to dating (BUT ONLY IF THAT'S TRUE!!!!!!!)

just tell him that you are not into dating yet. You don't have to be mean at all. Just let him know that you are not allowed to have boyfriends.
PS who cares what others people aka the cool kids think? Trust me, they are not going to be cool forever.

tell him you could be friends and ull help him in what ever you could but don't be mean to him when he talks to you just be nide like if he was one of your good friends may-be he'll turn out to be a good friend you never know!!!!!!!!!!!!
