I am a burly guy that donates blood every 2 months. So heck yeah, I turn my head. :). Creeps me the beejezzes out of me. to see a needle in arm and blood coming.

I watch. The US Army helped me get rid of my fear of needles. I'll give blood in a New York minute.

I watch so that I know when it is about to go in and can thus prepare myself for the prick.
It would be less painful if they would just let us inject ourselves, heck the teenage population seems to have no problem with self-mutilation so what's wrong with shots?

I watch, I'm a bit of a freak about those sorts of things lol, i like to see what they are sticking it into lol, i love watching all the surgery programmes on the t.v as-well lol

ooo this is kinda morbid but I gotta answer anyways. I have to turn away.....whether it's me or someone else being stuck w/ it. I get squeamish for some reason but am just fine & can look at it once it's already in.

I look. I think it's neat when I'm giving blood to watch it pump out. I always try to make it go faster by squeezing the tube they give you. ... Yeah I'm messed up like that.
