Your TRUE typing speed. Many offices won't use this as the sole judgement of your compatability for what they need. They may consider giving you some time to see just how well you do attitude wise and maybe in other non-typing positions. Never lie about something this minor on a job application. I would say NEVER lie at all on a job application but sometimes you have no honest answer just a good guess. Like I guessed I am 5'6" for job apps cuz the distance you can reach isn't really that big a concern. Just be as honest as possible and good luck. Jobs are very scarce in the USA right now and I know it's hard to find one that pays well and doesn't feel like it's killing you.

You need to go online and take a typing test to see where you are. 35-45 wpm is good, but most companies will require a typing test during the interview process. So don't put 60 wpm if you can't type that fast.

30 wpm is the minimum. I would leave that part out if your not sure or know your not up to speed. It won't do you any good to lie about it and get fired.
Also I hope you know how to use the keyboard, people will definitely notice that.
Good luck in your job search, remember if they like you, they won't mind if you have some slight flaws.

The speed that you actually type. Take an online typing test and clock yourself.
If you lie and are tested and the test results don't support what you said you could do, believe me when I tell you that you won't get hired.

60 WPM is usually sufficient for most all jobs but be able to walk the talk in case they give you a typing test or send you to an agency for one.

Don't lie about your W.P.M. Some companies will make you take a typing and a filing test before they'll hire you.

if that's really what you want to do you must be as honest as you can. because some business gives you an typing test just to see what you can do.
