just wondering, cause i used to be but i quit. i occasionly have one socially, but i havnt been actually drunk in 2 years. (im 16, used to be a young drinker)

the nice thing about me quiting drinking is i have got about 3 other people to stopp drinking too!

Never had a drop of alcohol in my life and damn proud of it. Drinking is what the government wants you to do. Spend all your money on booze and when they ruin our country, well hell, you won't even notice because you will be drunk. That is why we see beer commercials on T.V. all day long, they tell you its cool to be drunk, that drinking is "The Thing" to do. But its all so the government can control the masses...

What is considerd as a big drinker? I am a drinker but not an alcoholic. I drink alot more then but now i'm limited to four drinks a day because I have arthritis. Isn't it sad? Even though I know alcohol is bad for my condition, i still tends to break the rule and drink more than 4 drinks.

Yeah, I'm a moderately heavy drinker, but don't ever really get trashed. I'm in good health and it works for me.
Congrats on quitting! I work in a bar and see a lot of what CAN happen to some people.

I use to drink like crazy. I could amaze guys by being able to "take ten bubbles" from a tequila bottle but I guess you're only allowed to drink so much in one lifetime because now i might get a buzz once or twice a year.

i does not call myself an avid drinker whether that is often my drink of selection different than water for the duration of the artwork day. sure I reuse the tea bags, oftentimes till i'm now not waiting to get the tea to steepen to my liking. I quite take excitement in green tea with mint and honey.

One good health scare and being told I was a drink short of being an Alcoholic was enough to put me on the straight and narrow! that was too many years ago to count and you were still just a twinkle in your daddy's eye the last time I over indulged!
Who needs hangovers!

Good for you! Geez, you have a good start on a good future now that you quit that. I am an alcoholic who hasn't drank in 28 years...I have gained so much of myself back and I love me now...I love life! Keep up the good work! Hip Hip Horray!

Yeah I am, always have been. But that's actually pretty good considering that's all I really do. Where I live, meth is a really big problem. We have the second highest number of meth addicts in the country. So here it's good to have alcohol as a vice, rather than something more potent.

I have never been a big drinker...I have had my nights but I don't really drink much anymore, just the occasional one.

I was when I was a teenager. It got me in a lot of trouble, a weekend in juvenile, 6 weeks in rehab, waking up in the hospital. Now, I'm a weenie, 2 wine coolers and I'm done.
