If you want a 944 Turbo, the cheapest route woudl be to sell your 944 and look for a 944 Turbo. There are a variety of aftermarket kits around that can be added to a normally asperated 944, however, the 944 engine wasn't designed for this from the start and the level of boost you can safely run will be limited by the higher compression (where the 951 engine is lower compression). Also, the engine internals are not designed for the added stress and you'll have at least a negitive impact on reliability. Also, increasing the power will now make the brakes and the suspension move from being strengths to weak points unable to handle the new power, and they will be in need of upgrade.
Even without this part, the cost difference would be starting to approach the cost of a 944 Turbo - and that for a less reliable, lower performing car.

Pointless, buy one that already has one. Too many parts are different. Get a turbo S.
