Genuine friends want to know you with or without money, they are not for sale.
Fairweather friends are just users and are not that important they are two a penny.
Sometimes it's good to find out who's real and who's fake because when things change, and they will nothing stays the same, you will have learned a valuable lesson.

Many reasons.
Firstly, when you have no money this is usually followed by little confidence and no socialising due to lack of funds.
Secondly, with money your confidence grows, so does your circle of friends and your social life.
The lesson is that money brings an amount of happiness through confidence and socialising.
A downside can be that some friends can just use or abuse your friendship and prosperity, so choose friends carefully.

I am poor and I live on benefits, and I have more friends than I've ever had. So its not true for every one!
When I was at work my work mates acted in a very disgusting manner and i didn't have the energy to find many friends in my free time!
I had to leave due to ill health and in some ways I've never been happier!

As you know money always talk. I know it is very true it happens in the family ,relatives ,friends. Don't know why people love e money so much. When they die they won't take with them still i can never understand why they do. I do not love money so much so I'll know you even if don't have money. I'll be your friend i'll like inside of you and your heart and soul not your money.

Maybe you don't have the right type of friends? And money always does attract people who would normally not be around. But having no money doesn't mean having no friends in my book. Maybe I've just been fortunate...

everyone changes when some come into money it human nature and when u have money ur mood changes and mabe peopple might like being around ya when u have money!!
but also u may have friends that just want to hang with and sack every little peny out of ya!!! so i say get ride mate and u will be fine!!!

Keep to yourself your money situation then no one need know when you are skint. If they were real friends they would treat you to a pint now and again. Money does not bring happiness so cheer up and good luck.

because they think that when they are near money, money will buy them happiness or solve all their problems... when really, money can be the root of all evils and destroy everything.
money has a strange way of causing people to all of a sudden be nice and friends with you. it's called 'greed'

thats just shows you that they aint your true friend if all they want is money. A true friend is someone thats going to be there for you no matter what money or not.
