Somebody needs to... this global warming nonsense is getting out of hand. The only evidence that the global warming fundamentalists have going for them is that global temperatures are rising. The earth has heated up and cooled down many times in its history and contrary to popular belief, there is no evidence supporting the claim that humans are in any way responsible for it. Al Gore and the other members of the Church of Global Warming are fear mongers who try to use "scientific" climate models to prove that we're all going to die when those climate models have been proven time and again to be incorrect. According to climate models we should've already frozen in another ice age, or drowned in a flood, or been swept away in a perfect storm, or countless other things that climate models have predicted that NEVER happened. The facts don't support global warming, THERE IS NO SCIENTIFIC CONSENSUS. I'm all about saving money on electric bills and driving a car that costs me less money to operate, but i do not support policy based on a THEORY that people blindly believe in because their representative or favorite talk show host told them to. It may very well turn out that humans are in some way responsible, but as of today, science can not prove it. Science can prove that the sun has been hotter recently. Science can prove that while surface temperatures have increased, tropospheric temperatures have not, which calls into question the whole CFC's are increasing the greenhouse effect theory. Do your own research people. Look up a differing opinion. It won't hurt I promise.

Even better, Fox cut off the rest of it where Inhoffe tried to make the rules and Barbara Boxer gently reminded him she had the gavel and he didn't get to make the rules. The rest of the networks have the whole thing.

It doesn't matter. Even republican leadership is jumping on with global warming. There is too much evidence to support it. And the people are demanding somthing be down. So get ready to whine about another loss for conservatives. It's all for the better anyway.

Well, I don't know who Inhoffe is but here are the facts.
and his monthly bills are about $1300.
Electric bills obtained by The Tennessean, however, showed that Gore is paying a premium on his bills to be part of the “green power” program. Gore purchased 108 blocks of “green power” for at least each of the last three months, according to a summary of bills from Nashville Electric Service.

That’s a total of $432 a month spent to pay extra for solar or other renewable energy sources. NES power – outside this program - is derived largely from coal, which emits carbon, a green house gas.

The green power purchased by Gore in those three months is equivalent to recycling 2.48 million aluminum cans, or recycling 286,092 pounds of newspaper, according to comparison figures on the utility's Web site.

Gore’s movie details how greenhouse gases are trapping heat next to the earth, causing a changing climate with melting ice caps and more violent storms.

“Every family has a different carbon footprint,” said Kalee Krider, a spokeswoman for Gore.

The Gore’s 10,000 square foot house on Lynnwood Boulevard doesn’t have a small one.

The Green Power Switch program, however, isn’t all he and his wife, Tipper, are doing, Krider said.

They use compact fluourescent lights and are in the midst of a renovation project that includes having solar panels installed on their home to reduce fossil fuel consumption more, she said.

Their car? A Lexus hybrid SUV.

They put money into an investment company that Gore co-founded with a man named David Blood and it, in turn, sends the money to pay for solar, wind and other projects that reduce energy consumption around the globe.

Inhoffe is a hater that believes pollution in the atmosphere will never be a problem.

Sooner or later all the pollution in the atmosphere will catch up with us.
