i think tubby smith should get fired or at least bow out gracefully bc he sucs and is makin our team look bad! does anybody agree w/ me! our whole skool does! he is ruining kentuckys team!

for those of u who like tubby thats good to kno but we just lost to kansas and still r ticked so....illinois trust me no u dont cuz if u listened to him for one second u would hate him too

tubby is a good coach.its just its hard to recruit when players only stay for a year but you guys should ahve a good team next year. actually you guys had a good season for the msot part its just kansas is a better team.

First of all, Tubby Smith is a fantastic coach. He is even a decent recruiter. The problem isn't the coach its fans with unrealistic expectations. There is a lot of parity in college basketball. More so than even 5 years ago.
If a coach can get you 20-25 wins a season, he's doing a great job.
In fact... "Since arriving in Lexington in 1997, Smith has led Kentucky to one National Championship in 1998, a perfect 16-0 regular season conference record in 2003, five SEC regular season championships (1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005) and five SEC Tournament titles (1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004), with six Sweet Sixteen finishes and three Elite Eight finishes (1999, 2003, 2005) in his nine seasons. He totaled 100 wins quicker than any other Wildcat coach except Hall of Famer Adolph Rupp, reaching the plateau in 130 games."
Those are the stats of a great coach, no matter what your expectations.

Tubby is a good coach, and he still recruits okay, Randolph Morris and Joe Crawford are not playing to there potential. Look at the man, He has been to the tournament every year, never had a first round exit, and won him one, any college would be like okay where do we sign? But its just Kentucky and yall guys are just not used to that, just like when MIAMI Hurricanes fired Larry Coker, KU will never be the same again.=, and plus yall take so many damn unneeded shots. Yall just love to pull up with that three. Give Morris a chance if he is still there.

Tubby Smith is a GREAT COACH!!! I wish we had him at Illinois, then we would have a great recruiting class every year. You'll miss him soon enough, when your team fails and your recruiting class is horrible.

it wasn't his fault for the loss at kansas. the Jayhawks are just a MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better team than kentucky. if anything he should be praised for not losing to the jayhawks by more than 20 or 30.
Though he is an awful recruiter and needs to get more talent for a school like kentucky which is suppose to have prestige and tradition to it........ i think
