One of my students is an emotional barometer... she can tell when another person is feeling off, and always seeks them out for a few quiet words. I can't wait to meet the woman she will become someday. Kids like her are one of the reasons I LOVE my job.

He's usually able to tell if I'm mad or upset in general or w/ him (or if I'm just pretending lol) so he'll either let me be to cool off by myself or make sure to ask what's wrong & doesn't push if I won't tell him. If he knows I'm play-angry then he'll do something goofy like tickle me or whatever just to break me & make me laugh =o)
