Just because your parents are not in the same bed/room does not mean anything, they could be having a great time together and may just have sleeping issues..could you be wrong are you around and awake 24/7?
Rich, well I guess that means you will be the best parent's in the world, NOT, how great will the child's life be with a person ready to go into an old folks home, Personally I think having a child after 40 is selfish

You don't really know what goes on in other peoples relasionship even though they are your parents.
My dad also sleeps on the sofa, and thats because my mum chucks him out for snoring!!!! They are even using my old room as my dad's room!
To be honest sweetheart don't worry about it, it is quite common. Any way having a child at 50 odd will be hard. Normally women go through their menopause at that time or before.
And rich doesn't mean anything. You can be rich and unhappy inside and people may not see it.
Like I said no one ever knows what really goes on in other peoples lives's.
Be happy that they're together and don't worry.x

Sex is not the only thing to a marriage do you see your parents communicating healthy verbal not arguing? Also they could be sleeping separately because of many other reasons. Like snoring. Being a bed/sheet hog. Different sleeping and working schedules. Just to throw out a few. If your really concerned about your parents heading down a path of separation ask them.

well for your friend i am sorry to say, but i wouldn't recomend that her parents have any children because her mother will have a high risk pregnancy because of her age. they will have to wait till they have grandchildren or just go adopt another child, that always works. and in your case. just try to encourage your parents to spend more time together. do things like go out to eat, go to the movies, on a boat or anything like that and that should work. but if not i have no other suggestion becuase i wouldn't want the situation to be embarassing for you or your parents.

Your parents may be quite happy with the way things are. I would not try to change things, it could make home life pretty awkward. If this bothered them, they would be trying to change it themselves.

just chill out hun, maybe they are taking a break, everyone is not the same, so ur parents don't have to be like ur friend's parents. Just let it be, they are old enough to decide whats good for them, just concerntrate on ur life.

If your mom is going through menopause it may count for her lack of a sexual appetite. I wouldn't worry about it. Honestly, it's none of your business until one of them asks you your opinion.
