I am really good at basketball (well people say I am) and I want to join varsity again. What are the judges really looking for in girls collegebasketball? as in what should I work on?

I asked that of an old friend of mine who is now a women's college basketball coach. The first thing he said is that he wants a girl who penetrates well, attacks the basket. Add to that a good shooting stroke and a sense of being a team player (some high school stars cannot handle being role players on college teams) and a willingness and desire to play and practice hard will go a long way.

they look for a decent shooter if your shorter. not really taking it to the hole. mainly a pick and pop shooter.
on D you must be quick and block a lot of shots. mainly in Womens there's not a lot of driving. mainly picks and transition.
you need quick hands and a good lay up.
