Hey Valerie.. my best friend had the same problem in middle school and high school. Her pits would be sooo leaky and so would her hands and she was so embarrased by it. no matter what she tried, she still sweated. Her parents tried all this stuff, but it never worked. She even tried this type of shock therapy... she hated it and it didn't help. Finally, she went to a doctor and they told her that she had overproductive pituary glands. I can't remember the exact name of the disorder, but they told her it was fixable by a simple procedure where they extract a gland from both sides a little bit under the under arms. They did, and she has had amazing results. She no longer sweats. I would reccommend that your friend get medical help. Nothing really will help until she knows the exact reason she is sweating. It could be puberty, then again, it could be something completely different. Just advise her to get a a doc. They will definately be able to help. :) Good luck.

My cousin has the same problem that she tells me about everyday. Recently she told me that she has tried a deoderant called Aired(or something like that air-rid) and she said that she hasn't been sweating any. It made just for extrem sweating. She has told me that she has also tryed mens deoderant and that it really works, she just dosen't want to wear MENS. The only thing that has ever helped me is Degree, its the only thing that I can use that works. There is also something new I saw on a commercial, thats called Secret Clincal Strenght. But I don't know if it works, but its also suppose to be made for extreme sweating. I hope this helps your friend.

It is called hyperhydrosis. It happens during puberty mostly, but it can run longer then that. Tell her to ask her doctor about it.

If she is a teenager, then it is probably a puberty thing. If it is really bad, she needs to see her doctor.
