Everything I've found is made of lots of leather or is hippy-dippy or unprofessional.

I did a search for "vegan briefcases" and got some interesting results. Also, try thrift stores. They'recheap (Probably under $5), and I have found some nice non-leather stuff there. Not only is the money going to something good, and not retail America, but you're giving another use to something. I have a nice nylon messenger bag that I picked up a rummage sale that a local grade school's drama club was putting on.

I hope this helps...

If you're in the U.S. try a Marshall's or a TJ Maxx. Select something made of canvas or even hemp...not necessarily a briefcase, but a big bag made of material which can function well as one. Other choices might include one made of nylon or some synthetic material. You could select something in cotton, a pattern that you like, and have a talented person stitch you up something fun, funky, and original.

i support your earth saving thing but there is no "eco-friendly briefcases"! your really just better off going with leather.
