This question is not quite so simple as most seems to think (though one answer was very close).

Actually, if there was a current calendar in the room where Washington was born, it would have read;

February 11, 1731.

That's because, when he was born, Britain and her colonies were style observing the Old Style (Julian) calendar, which was 11 days behind the."New Style" (Gregorian) calendar
that we all now operate under.

Also, the old calendar observed New Year's on March 25, rather than in January -- that is, December 31, 1731 was followed by January 1, 1731. Hence 1732 was not counted as having started yet when Washington was born

Under the new calendar then, the date would have been February 22, 1732. So when Britain finally switched to the new calendar in September 1752, many dates (including the birth dates of people living at that time) were adjusted to the new calendar.

Not surprisingly, the two calendars caused confusion for many in the 18th century, and people disagreed about when to observe dates from before the change. Some individuals insisted on referring to these things by the old date, others revised the old dates. Apparently Washington accepted the revised date in his later years.
