Deimos and Phobos were his children by Aphrodite and were the spirit of terror and fear. The sister and companion of murderous Ares was Enyo, goddess of bloodshed and violence. The presence of Ares was accompanied by Kydoimos, the demon of the din of battle, as well as the Makhai (Battles), the Hysminai (Manslaughters), Polemos (a minor spirit of war; probably an epithet of Ares, as he had no specific dominion), and Polemos' daughter, Alala, goddess/personification of the Greek war-cry, whose name Ares used as his own war-cry.

Consorts and Children

There are accounts of a son of Ares, Cycnus (Kýknos) of Macedonia, who was so murderous that he attempted to build a temple with the skulls and the bones of travellers. Heracles slaughtered this abominable monstrosity, engendering the wrath of Ares, whom the hero wounded (Apollodorus 2.114).
Other consorts and children of Ares include:
Aglaulus
Alcippe
Aphrodite
Deimos (Dread)
Eros (in some sources)
Harmonia
Phobos (Fright)
Cyrene
Diomedes
Harpina (or Sterope, according to some accounts)

Rhea Silvia (Roman mythology)
Remus

Ares Children

Aphrodite- Not a name I'd use, but a beautiful name Athena- Love this. I'd use it and a name similar that is also Greek Anthea Artemis- I wouldn't use this for the pure porpose that I named my cat this Demeter- Sounds to "manly". Like Demetre Hera- Not my first choice but I'd use it Hestia- I'd consider it, although not my first choice Gaia - Not something I'd use Ares- Out of the ones listed, this would probably be the most likely one I"d use Hermes- It's a cool word. But I fear he'd be called "herpes" Poseidon- Not a name I'd use Apollo- I might use it, but I do have a cat named this Hades- I would definitely not use that. Zeus- My kitty is named Zeus Chronos- I'd think about. I might use it. 2) I'd use Athena for a girls and Chronos for a boy. If Adonis was listed I'd use that. 3)Oh Greek names are great. I love Landry, Leander, Athena, Anthea, Adrianna, Athos, and Bronte just to name a few.

As far as I can tell he had 3:
Diomedes, by the nymph Cyrene;
Cycnus by Pyrene;
Oenomaus by Sterope, one of the seven sisters comprising the Pleiades constellation.
