my friend melissa is turning 18 today and i want to make her a special birthday card but im not really good at writing things in it so what is something nice, maybe sorta a paragraph long or something that i can write in this card? and please do not put down saying happy 18th birthday melissa cuz that's old.

write her a poem along with a letter. the poem will say how much she means to you. the letter will say the same thing but also add some of the old time memories that you and Melissa both remember. it brings back all the good times you two had.

Speak from your heart..your friend means alot to you it sounds so just sit down and think about what she means to you as a friend. How she has made your life better and how you are happy to have her in your life. Practice writing before you put it into the card that way you can change your wording if needed.
