I have a 2004 pontiac grand prix. my blower fan blew the fuse. i put a new one in. now the fan wont stop.?????

When i put the new fuse in the fan runs at a constant speed. even when the key is off. I cant shut it off with the control knob. the only way i can shut it off is pull the fuse. What is the problem?? how do i fix it???

I have not done any aftermarket accessories. there is a professionally installed alarm system on it, it has been on there for a couple years.

The blower switch might be bad but it shouldn't have power to the switch with the key off. What else have you done to the car lately like stereo installation?
