I don't think Oakland is so stupid as to pass on Russell. Look at their QB situation.

Alot of the sites I see have Tampa Bay trading up to get Johnson at the #1 spot. This allows Detroit then to take Quinn to go to Detroit, the Browns to get Thomas (since they just signed Lewis I dont think they would grab Peterson with Thomas available), and the Russell would go at #4 to the Raiders. I dont think that with the Scheme that Detroit has that they would take Russell over Quinn...although, they are also saying that Minnesota might trade up as well to get a Quarterback....only time will tell...I think Russell would be a good fit in Oakland or Minnesota

The Vikings or the Bucs. If Raiders don't take Russell, its assumed they take calvin johnson, lions would probably take quinn or thomas, browns will take quinn if thomas is gone, since johnson is gone i think the bucs will look for a qb since simms doesnt look like the franchise qb they hoped he would be; and if the bucs opt to go to a defensive player, then the vikes are the next team in need of a qb since arizona already drafted leinart and washington is working on campbell.

well, honestly, i would automatically see Detroit taking him. Detroit really doesn't have a solid QB,and Russell is too good to pass up. considering the guy throws 80 yards without planting his feet, he would be great having Williams as his go to guy

I think it would have to be Detroit cause thier not gonna make the same mistake of drafting the lesser mobile quarterback.
