Arizona and a little bit of southern utah too (but not many people realize this). it's beautiful you should go!

The Grand Canyon is located in Northern Arizona.
The closest town you can fly into (using an airline as opposed to private plane) to get to the Grand Canyon is Flagstaff. It's about 1.5 hours south of the Grand Canyon.
However, the Grand Canyon is 277 miles long so you can see it from many different areas. The best place to see the Grand Canyon is the South Rim at the Grand Canyon National Park. It's approx 4.5 hours north of Phoenix. 5ish hours southeast of Las Vegas. And 1.5 hours north of Flagstaff.
If you plan on going to the Grand Canyon, I highly recommend taking a tour of the Grand Canyon. Tour companies can help you avoid the crowds (5-6 million per year of crowds) and show you the best spots to go.
