If you oder pizza online and when they come to deliver it you don't hear them knock and they drive off and never give you your pizza then should you still pay for it?

i paid by credit card so they got their money already and they told me i shouldn't get a refund because they tried to deliver it. and if i wanted the pizza i should come pick it up.

i think they are just trying to get some more money. If i were you i would go down to the place and give them a (for lack of a better phrase) stern talking to. tell them that you paid for your pizza and delivery, and that you expect them to give you what you paid for. i would also tell them that it is their responsibility that the product gets to the customer, and that you would like a refund. on the other maybe a doorbell isnt such a bad idea.

First, I can't imagine ordering a pizza on line. Don't you have a phone? Second, I can't imagine paying for a pizza with a credit card. Don't you have any money? Third, I can't imagine ordering a pizza and then not paying attention to the possibility that someone might come knocking! Your whole question is nonsense, start to pathetic finish! Ican't even imagine what to tell you, since you obviously live on another planet!

Wow, I can't believe that actually happened. First off, call your credit card company and dispute the charge to your card. Second, talk to the manager of the pizza place, not the doorknob who is on duty at the time but the real manager or better yet, the owner. If you still don't get any satisfaction, call the corporate office and if it gets down to it, nail'em by talking to the Better Business Bureau. I love stuff like this, I love to take down businesses that try to work you over!

If you didn't get the pizza they can't charge you for it. I would call the general manager and tell them that they didn't try very hard if you were home and didn't hear the door.
One time a pizza guy sat 20 minutes in my drive way because my boyfriend ordered on his way home and got stuck in traffic. They called him and waited.

Call your bank and tell them you didn't get it. Let the bank and the pizza place fight it out. The bank should refund your money and then go to the pizza place to get it back.
