Dragon Ball Z has been over. Ever heard of Dragon Ball GT, even thats over now.

Sad, but true DBZ is truely over even though FUNamation re-releases the DBZ sagas and the same with the original and GT. But Toriyama (The Creator of DBZ) still makes little DBZ projects here and there such as the manga crossover with One Piece, (Check Wikipedia) and Dragon Ball AF is NOT real (AF - April Fools) But DBZ lasts forever in my opinion....

Yes. And it has been over since 1996, when creator Akira Toriyama finally ended the manga. The anime took a few years longer to get out in America, but it's been over for a long time now.
