I need quick help with math!!!!!!!?
lorenzo's pizzeria offer 10 different pizza topping, including pepperoni, garlic, pinapple, and black olive.
1. how many different three-topping pizza are possible?
2. how many different four-topping pizza are possible?
3.how many of the possible four-topping pizza do not include pepperoni or black olives?

To solve: if there was one topping, it would be ten, right? Now how about two toppings? You could use numbers and write all the possibilities, but the answer is 90. Why? 10 x 9. The first topping, there are ten possibilities. But for the second, there are only nine toppings left to choose from.

Now apply this to three toppings: 10 topping for the first choice, 9 for the second, and 8 for the third. 10 x 9 x 8 = 720 (yes, a lot!)

Now for four toppings: 10 topping for the first choice, 9 for the second, 8 for the third, and 7 for the fourth. 10 x 9 x 8 x 7 = 5040

As for your third problem, same system of solving, but now you only have eight toppings to choose from (10 toppings minus pepperoni and black olives). So, 8 choices for first, 7 for the second, etc.... 8 x 7 x 6 x 5 = 1680
