Hi. I just got contact lenses today and I can see things perfectly from far away! :-) But my eyes are watery and so it is blurry when I look at things from close up. There is nothing on either lense... Is this normal? I think it's because I'm new to this, but I'm just trying to make sure.

I would say your eyes are just still adjusting although I have had contacts for a couple years and the perscription isn't strong enough so I have trouble seeing things some times. But if your eyes are watery they're probably adjusting like I said.

This is normal. I got my lenses last year and they were like that for the first day or so. Its just because your eyes are not used to them yet. They will be soon though. Enjoy your lenses! I love mine!

Maybe its just you getting used to them but whenI first starting using contacts I put them in wrong and had that problem, contacts are a hard thing to get used to I wish you the best of luck.

it sounds like they are irritating your eyes. If they are disposable you may need to switch to a different brand. Make an appointment with the dr again and get it checked. Make sure you bring in any you have.
