I think Yahoo should employ moderators. That way,any really offensive material would be deleted immediately, without any need for a report.

It would also do a lot towards getting rid of trolls and point gamers.

Why would anyone experience misery or distress over the Yahoo violations scheme? It isn't like you're paid for the quality of your questions or answers. It's Yahoo's forum and they've designed the rules. If that causes anyone misery or distress, then they can eliminate all their issues by going away and playing somewhere else.

This is an option...not a lifestyle choice.

Oh please....its just a bit of distraction, with some good advice from time to time, but mostly a little time filler during the adverts....nothing to get distressed over!

I don't think it's so much Yahoo as the people who report you for the most minor things..been reported for abuse a few times now and i could never see what was abusive in any of my answers

Am I the only one who thinks that if a website causes you misery and distress that you should seriously re-evaluate your life?

i don't know if they do or not but they should. it is not right for good people to be violated on here. it is aggravating. i know because it has happened to me. the only thing we can do is to continue to complain to yahoo answers on this matter and try to get this stopped. good luck.

I'm sure they do... that's why they give them to us so we don't break any more rules.

Seriously, I got a Violation Notice before, too. It was for "Not a QUestion or an Answer".
