Why was Motley Crue banned from Ohio (I think it was Ohio) or maybe Utah?

I watched them perform with Aerosmith at Germain Amphitheater in Columbus Ohio last fall. Don't think they are banned from Ohio.

i dont know. maybe ohio/utah just sucks and cant realize they kicked one of the top 20 best rock groups out of there state
