I'm sure not everyday, doctors have appointments all day long. What do they do when not seeing patients?

they may be reviewing patient records , any tests run that need review, visits to patients in hospitals, keeping up to date with information on new drugs , other treatments being developed and reading medical journals .

Keeping up-to-date is a big task in the doctors job.

They may also have staff meetings , meet with drug company reps, or other equipment vendors.

I worked for a family dr for over 7 years. they would take a nap in their office, review charts, complain about the next days patients...i.e. who scheduled he/she to see me??? Why do I get all the depression patients...?
