I have some smoked chicken and I don't want to just throw out the skin just to have the animals go through the trash to get it, so I thought I could feed some if not all of the skin to them. I know not to give them the bones, so please no comments about that thank you all who answer

I actually had my pups at the vet yesterday and was told that, other than the bones obviously, any part of chicken is ok to feed them, as long as there are no spices or marinades added-just plain cooked chicken.
The skin is fattening, but a little fat is good for pups' skin and coats.
Oooo, you're going to have some happy babies! They'll love ya for it.

There is a lot of fat in the skin. High quantities of fats are not good for them. It's ok for a couple small pieces once in a blue moon, but don't make it a habit. It could give them problems.

Go ahead! I'm sure that chicken skin is one of the ingredients of "Chicken Dinner" dog or cat food!

It's ok to give them a little (in small pieces) but unhealthy to give them a lot, just because of the fat content. It won't really make them sick, but will probably give them the runs for a day or so.

no, it isn't good for their health, any thing that has spices or flavoring is bad for them, the only way they should eat meat is cooked without anything on it, just the meat, but putting raw eggs on dog food is really good for them

Do not feed your pets skin. They might choke on it, and then you'll have a problem.

it is perfectly fine to give your cats and dogs the skin as long as you give it to them in small chunks(don't give them a huge chunk-they might choke)-i always give my cats and dog skin!
