Ask mom how old she was when she got hers...that's your best indicator. You will be pretty close to the age she was. If you reach 16 w/o it, it's time to go the doctor. Generally you will start getting your period one year after your breasts really start growing. If you are very underweight that could delay your period starting. Make sure you are eating a big enough/healthy enough diet. Don't stress...once you get it, it's a hassle anyway.

Are you really into athletics? My friends had similar situations one was a runner and the other was a gymnast and they both trained very hard.Because of the intense training they didnt get their periods until 18 and 19. If you are concerned talk with your mom or consult your doctor.

its perfectly normal because every woman is different, some start at 3rd grade & some at 18. BUT if it takes longer than that then maybe you should see a doctor & see whats wrong.

Lucky! Why do you want it? If you feel like you're the only one who hasn't gotten it yet, you could always pretend you did.
