assistant with back rent?

Im about to be evicted for back rent. i live in low income housing and they never told me how far behind i was in the rent so i could make payment plans what should i do

Darcella, dear. It is not the responsibility of the landlord to tell you how far in arrears you are on rent. I trust you are quite aware of what the monthly rent rate is, and whether or not you have paid the rents as required. At this stage, you are basically at the mercy of the landlord. If you can make arrangements to pay which are acceptable to the landlord, that will work. If not, the landlord has every right to remove you from the premises for non-payment. I might suggest contacting either a local church group or The Salvation Army for possible assistance on a temporary basis. They do have programs for those in serious need.
