Every person is different. I would have spotting and pray it was implantation...it never was. Just my period about to start. Try to relax and not obsess over getting pregnant. I was trying for a year, taking ovulation tests, basal temps, checking discharge, you name it. Finally, I decided to take off a month for our vacation (plotting, planning, praying) and finally got pregnant! Good luck to you!

Well I would say you were already pregnant since you did NOT have any spotting with your other pregnancy. I don't either but while pregnant and baby dancing during the first trimester I spot after each time.
I would have to say that you were pregnant before your ovulation test!
I would honestly take a pregnancy test, however DO not get to upset if it comes out negative...I still believe you are pregnant...it may just be to soon. But with symptoms you share sounds like you have already implanted and are on your way --- best wishes..

yes - when I was trying to conceive for 10 years I would get spotting now and again. It is just like a little fleck of blood when you blow your nose a bit hard. Nothing major. Sometimes it would be a light pink flush of mucus when wiped on white toilet paper or on a panty liner but nothing major. The spotting can be due to a few things. One egg implantation (fingers crossed that has happened!). Ovulation itself. Over zealous sex. A scratch within the vagina. Erosion of the end of the cervix for various reasons (sometimes an infection or again over zealous sex). Worst case scenario is an aborted implant. I would suggest you use a panty liner so you can see exactly how much you are spotting. This is useful if you can show the Doctor too if you feel you need to go see him/her in a day or two if it hasn't stopped. With my first pregnancy I spotted for a few weeks after conceiving and was made to REST on my back as much as possible to let the egg implant properly. At the first scan they made me drink loads of water to get the bladder to push the uterus up and after I spotted for two days!! If the spotting turns into a flow of more than say.........a few large drips...as if you had cut a finger and it dripped hard for a few seconds......then GET to an A&E immediately!!!!! Promise me that!!!
From a website
Implantation Bleeding during pregnancy
Implantation bleeding, spotting, can happen at the time the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, on average between 6 to 12 days past ovulation. It is is vaginal discharge which usually contains a small amount of pinkish or brownish blood. Only about 1 in 3 pregnant women experience implantation bleeding.
Approximately one third of all pregnant women report bleeding that is associated with implantation. The presence of implantation bleeding does not increase the overall risk of miscarriage, however. Most pregnancies will continue until term without further bleeding.
Report any abnormal vaginal bleeding during pregnancy to your doctor. Be prepared to give information about the amount of blood lost and a description of how you are feeling overall.
The cells that eventually form the placenta are called trophoblasts. Specialized trophoblasts, the syncitiotroblast, are responsible for developing an interface with the maternal circulatory system to provide nutrients and allow gas (oxygen and carbon dioxide) exchange to occur.
Sometimes, while this interface is developed, some of the maternal blood is lost. This implantation bleeding is typically short in duration and quite light. Implantation bleeding is one of the early signs of pregnancy.
Implantation bleeding or cramping
About eight days after ovulation, you may experience implantation spotting, a slight staining of a pink or brown color, as well as some cramping. You might also see some spotting around the time you expect your period; this is from the egg burrowing into the endometrial lining.
Good luck and I wish you a baby soon!

I did some investigating into this a little while ago.
Basically, you can get implantation bleeding 6-12 days after you have ovulated.
This is a pin/brown discharge, not enough to use a panty liner and you can see it when you wipe.
Not all women get this.
Possibly your spotting could be friction when you had sex, as it was only the night before.

Whilst spotting can happen during pregnancy it isn't a sign of being pregnant and bearing in mind your test showed you ovulated only yesterday it is highly unlikely you are pregnant yet - keep trying and good luck, it will happen.
