It is Venus, if you can, look at it using some form of optical aid, and you will be able to see that it exhibits phases like those of the moon.

Just to add - it doesn't matter that you are in Europe; it Will be visible to everyone else as well - with some exceptions for people in extreme N or S.

That would be Venus. Mercury is nearby, but you can't see it with the naked eye at this time.
