why people think bill clinton is such a bad guy, what happend with his family is his families problem not the nations... he did have an affair but obviously him and hillary worked it out. its annoying to hear people say he raped her and that he was a bad guy. he did some pretty great things as president and i think its time to let it go.
what do you guys think about all the Clinton bashing (Bill and Hilary) thats been going on?

I thought Clinton made a great president...he represented the country well on the worlds' stage, and garnered respect internationally. His dalliance with Monica was his business, and it only made America look small minded and ridiculous that a big deal was made of it. Presidents have been screwing around, administration after administration...he just got caught. But I don't think the American people realize what a laughing stock THEY were for being upset. The international opinion of Clinton didn't change, but the worlds' opinion of American citizens certainly did!
And as for the bashing that continues...well, if thats the best the Reps can come up with...so be it. Who cares?

Considering his position in the government, I think he took advantage of a young impressionable girl. Then he BROKE the LAW and lied about it under oath. Then he played totally stupid by saying things like "that depends on what the definition of is is".Maybe everyone is jealous because they can't get a bj in the oo. I would like to see the list of GREAT things Clinton did. He had time to play and be nice nice because nobody attacked us while he was in office. No wait somebody did attack us, he just didn't do anything about it. Rub your cigar in that and smoke it.

Clinton fired 93, counting 3 that had cases pending against him, which sent the trial to day one costing the us taxpayers boat loads of money, that makes him a bad guy in my eyes.........
Bush getting beat up about Walter Read medical center, and poor living conditions for our recovering troops
Clinton dismantling more than 30% of our military, putting Walter Read on bases closure list.....bad guy
Bush being blamed for 911, should of done more, in office for 9 months
Clinton two world traded center attacks while in office, didn't do squat, out of office before 911. he could of and should of did something to prevent this tragedy....... bad guy
Bush married and faithful
Clinton using political office for sex , and lying about it, and he did some before he was president, showing no morals what so ever.... bad guy
this list could go on and on, but hey lets beat up Bush and praise Clinton.........dose that sound right? NO

Simple, in the US military, adultery is illegal, Clinton's white house indicted a Sergeant in the Army for fraternization and adultery with one of his female recruits, Clinton took advantage of a naive intern, then, while commiting adultery, he asked for a pardon as Commander in Chief, as in, hey, I am in the military, to which we nasty republicans replied, right, so you won't mind being prosocuted for adultery then, right Mr. CinC?
I don't respect someone who has never served, in any capacity, wrapping himself in our flag for protection, period. What is between he and his wife, is his business, but don't tell me the guy is a friggin hero because he cut the national debt. I respect his changes to welfare and the paternity leave and disability act. I can find good things in someone I don't necessarily respect. I just wish I would hear a democrat with integrity say something positive about Bush, anything!

He didn't exactly help the country... There were certain political things which he didn't address. But all presidents do that. I am not quite sure what "great" things he did, and I am not sure he really did much... But, by all means he may be a nice guy.
