there's not really an escape from life other then death and in my book that's still up for debate. the problem is people are trying to find some new way to escape everything and nobody is just trying to fix things where they are, this is the reason drugs are so prevalent and alcoholics are everywhere but those aren't the only things people turn to, i've seen people turn to drugs, alcohol, sex, cutting, and there are all sorts of other addictions. people will try anything to escape their problems.
