Should your co-workers mind their own business if you do things you arent suppose to but everyone does it anyway? Like go on the internet, take an extra long break once in a while, or talk to another co-worker at their desk for a long period of time? Of course you still get all your work done and you do not do it every day, but when it gets slow and you are bored you just have to do something! Do your co-workers tell on you?

As a manager, I have to get a lot of information about what my employees are doing from other employees. I don't want to hear every little thing, but if something is against company policy and an employee is REPEATEDLY violating that policy, I have to take action. Employees act very differently when the boss is around, so I can't count on seeing what they do when I'm not around.

Totally depends on where you are working.

Obviously - if someone has - then don't get caught doing it!

(doesn't matter if they are RIGHT if YOU get in trouble!!!)
