If you are wondering how I wrote that if the keys don't work,I'm using an on-screen keyboard,but it's a hassle so please help.

Hi. Sounds like something got in there. You can replace the keyboard, but what fun is that? Power off and gently pry the 'Caps lock' key off (because it's larger than the others) and look under a bright light. See any gunk? If so gently remove the other keys and clean with 90% alcohol, not rubbing alcohol. If this works, you're done. Otherwise the keyboard must be disassembled and cleaned. Usually held together with a few screws on the back.
