And when you did, where did you change your baby's diaper and cloths?

Thank you!

My daughter is 2 and I still use the changing table for diaper changes. Most the time I just sit her on the bed for changing clothes. I think it really depends on the child. How big or small they are and how wiggly they are. Once they get moving around alot sometimes the bed is just easier.

when your child either gets too long to fit well or squirms too much to fell comfortable with them up that high. usually anywhere from 12 months to 2 years. It was always about 12 months for us

We then moved to the floor 1) no chance of falling off
2) here the child could help with getting dressed by sitting up when getting shirt on - and standing up (holding onto you) when pulling up pants etc...
Yeah you have to sit on the floor with them but don't most Mums do that like a million times a day anyway? I just throw down a nursing blanket in case any pooh in the diaper etc...

That's just what I've done for the last 4 babies - this one is just turned 1 and she is still on the changing table because she doesn't squirm and I feel comfortable with her sitting on it in front of me to do the getting dressed bit.

Good luck !

The changing table was no longer needed at about 18 months when they start toilet training and they are wearing training pants. I kept it though, for the next babies! It was the kind that converted to a dresser by removing the pad on top so after all the diapering was over, my daughters used it as a dresser only.

Mine is still on hers at 12 months. I plan on keeping it for a while. After she outgrows is, I am going to have to start changing her on the floor. But I will kept the changing table because I LOVE the shelves.

our house has an odd set-up. Both bedrooms are upstairs, everything else (including the bathroom) is down. So we made the spare room on the 1st floor as a "changing room" and have all dressers in there. Plus the one wall is all cabinets. I put the baby dresser and changing table in there when she was born, since that is where me and hubby get dressed. But there is nothing in that room but dressers and closets. I will have to dress the baby on the floor when she is too big for the changing table. there is no where else to lay her.
I will keep the baby on the table until she is too big or too heavy. whichever comes first.

I dont use a chaning table but I have always had a specif soft blanket I place on the floor couch bed whereever I change my son. Alot of tables give a weight or length to give a guide on how long u can use the table.

around 6 months for the comparable motives you listed. We became the backside of one of our front room end tables right into a diaper changing station & use the front room floor (carpeted). For over a month, we've been making use of the showering room sink to rinse him off quite than making use of wipes so it works out plenty extra effective all around. plenty extra undemanding on the back too!!

I used mine for about the first 2 weeks, and then it became a table to hold a million baby things! I have since changed my daughter on my bed.. its just so much easier!

I never used a changing table. There were other things I needed to spend that money on. I usually changed baby on a pad on the floor.
