If a boy got into a fight at school with another boy and they were both at fault and suspended from school for 5 days and then the day following the fight one of the boys was in school while the other was still suspended for 5 days what would you do if it was your child who was still suspended while the other boy returned the next day?

They both began suspension yesterday morning and the second boy was back in school today (day 1 of suspension) they should both be returning Friday. His mom is however on the school board.

The samething happened to me a couple of years ago. I was too young to do anything and my parents didn't do anything. If i were you i would go to the school and tell them to deal with the problem or you'll take it to the school board. If they don't then you take it to the school board. Make it a big deal.

Not enough information.

However, I it is possible that they will be suspended, not at the same time. Your boy goes first for 5 days, the other boy goes second for 5 days. This happend a couple of times way back then. It gets more seperation. 2 weeks before the boys have to see each other...time to cool off.

I only say the school do this if it was race related or a really horrible fight.

If this is not the case, just make a trip to the school and ask them to explain. Don't go up there being a silly parent talking about how your kid was treated unfairly. WHY? Because. Irregardless of what happened to the other boy, your boy was in a fight, and got suspended. He has to do that punishment no matter what.

I would set up a meeting with the principal and find out the reason, get proof that the other boy was in school, after only 1 day, and ask the principal to explain the inconsistency.

If you don't get the response from the principal you want, then set up a meeting with the school board, and keeop fighting until you get the result you want.

You should talk to the principal and other school related people on the phone and say how you don't understand why your son is in more trouble then the other boy. But don't fault the school that way you have a better chance of getting the answer you want

If they were both suspended, why was the other boy back at school the next day?

I suspect there are details you aren't telling us, without which it's impossible to give an informed decision.

Hello! I, as a character who have been dressed in uniforms for a long time, suppose all colleges (all public colleges) will have to put on uniforms. I suppose institution is approximately studying, insted of how one can appear. I suppose it each distracts, and takes priceless studying time clear of children. When a instructor has to inform a scholar to "pass to the workplace and difference" it takes away time from studying. Also, it makes the institution appear bigger. When pupils from a institution are obvious dressing inappopropriatly, it makes the institution appear unhealthy. Also, in my view, I love my uniform!!

Sounds to me like 'politics 'were involve. It's unfair but it is a fact of life that there is a double standard.I would raise he** and also see what caused the fight, who was kin to who and then blow it wide open!

i'd make it known to the school that it is unfair. Although what he has done wrong, the other child should also get the same punishment.

What did the one boy do to have his suspension reduced?

I'd send my kid back to school the next day and wait for the principal to call me, and when they tried to send him home I would tell them he will come home when the other kid does.
