ha! i think that girl will be mortified in 5 or 10 years when tapes are still floating around and she is pouring her eyes out over Sanjaya. I know I had my tween crushes, of whom are not cool at all now, but i didnt have the nation watch me crying over them!

I thought it was asinine, did you notice she was sitting right in front of the producer, did she win a contest or something. I had to explain to my grandkids that she wasn't sad but just overcome with emotion.

I think she will treasure it. She loved Sanjaya and she got to hug them so her dreams came true. He might be the next Idol and she will be able to say "Yeah, I met Sanjaya I was his first real fan" .
