I got on Yaz to try and regulate my periods with hopes it would get rid of my migraines. In the meantime (after 17 yrs.) we found out why I have the migraines. I have been bleeding ever since starting the Yaz and I feel moody, crampy and not myself. I am almost finished with the first pack (about 4 more pink pills). Can I just stop taking them and let my body get back to normal?

I will tell you my opinion but ask your gyn too.

Yes, you can stop them if the cause was discovered not to be hormone-related

It will take three months more or less to get back to the hormone-free state. Check your reactions and feelings around the date of the mense specially if you used to take it for Pre menstrual syndrome.

Yes, you can stop the pills but I would recommend getting in touch with your dr to let them know what's been going on and see what they suggest.
