I had this previous post about my 3 months old sand boa not feeding, now heres the issue. About how long after it not eating should i start to get worried? Because it has been about a month since it's last eaten and it's last meal was 2 small frozen pinkie mice. How much longer should i wait until i visit the vet? It's been eating frozen pinkies since it was in the store so it was trained.

Take him to the vet right away. Most boas will go about 2 weeks w/o food, but a month is much too long.

how insensitive mary it could be a catholic snake isn't it lint?

seriously though if you are concerned take him in if for nothing else than a wellness checkup. snakes and other animals do not stop eating out of spite or anything like that. how is his activity been? normal? if nothing has changed such as lighting, housing, introduction of another pet etc. then your concern is warranted. get your big guy in to see a vet if nothing else to make you feel better and know he is well. office visits about $35 some vets will allow you to make payments even. check first though
