Honestly ... The Harry Potter books, they're long and interesting .... there's also the gossip girl series but I think they're more for an older teen 17, 18, and they're not very long ... Look around Boarder's they should have a section geared towards teens, and they'll be able to help you find something in the genre that you like best.

"A Great and Terrible Beauty", by Libba Bray, is upwards of 400 pages but so good that I read it in a single day! It's much better than your run-of-the-mill teen novel. It's set in Victorian England, for one thing, with a good dash of the supernatural and another of romance thrown in.
"The Lord of the Rings" is a classic, so you may have read it, but if you haven't, it's 1100 pages of fantasy at its best, and about fifty times better than the movies were! Okay, I exaggerate. It's still my favorite book of all time.

The tomorrow series by John Marsden is very good. It starts with 'Tomorrow When the War Began'. Very thought provoking but with interesting characters that teens can relate to.
