I want ot install a pair of video cards and use VISTA ultimate. The ASUS website got me lost

Well you will need a set of matched nvidia SLI cards like these:

If you want directx 10 you'll need an 8800 card....

And as to Vista.... Put XP back on for a while and throw the Vista in a draw until they have a service pack and drivers to make it usable.

Vista still doesn't support SLI. And running sli really will NOT improve speed at all unless you're running at extremely high resolution like 2048 by 1600 or higher.

since its sli it uses PCI-E x16 so pci express. most of the video cards are pci-e and plus you can use 2 of the same kind since its sli
