British English and American English have differences... Us Americans are the ones who changed the spellings...

Even our British friends speak an English that is different than it was in historic England 400 years ago. And, a couple of letters are different, ie the thorn (looked like y), which is now obselete.

For someone complaining about spelling, it would make sense to at least have correct grammar.

Try;
Why can't people in England spell as well as people in the USA? They think it's their language, but they spell loads of words wrong! It's not their language anymore, it's ours, and our spelling is correct!

I would like to say 'Typical American' but I am not going to stereotype a nationality based on one misguided person.

(Edit - Yes I realise USA should be punctuated, in reference to Jason's post, but I preferred the abbreviated form as it has become acceptable. Or has it?)

I can only hope that you are attemping to be humorous.

British English and American English diverged about 200 years ago, and have resulted in a number of spelling and vocubulary difference. Same as any other linguistic dialect.

No, our version is correct. It's still called English, not American. It's colour, not color, and you'd better get used to it. Anyway, colour has more class. It looks more sophisticated, like it should be wearing a dinner suit.

And 'aluminum'? What's up with that? Do you call radium 'radum' and calcium 'calcum'?
