only if you let it.

what else do you like? how do you act? are you kind? these things all help to define who you are.

I am a paramedic.
I am also a scuba diver, a hiker, a nerd ;), a wanna-be artist, a lover, a friend, a flirt, a daughter, moody, kind, dinghy, smart, a sister, sweet, opinionated, giving, and many many other things to include sometimes just being a downright bi+ch.

how do YOU define who you are? There's your answer.

No i dont think it defines who I am at least. I just go to work to get a paycheck. I think if you dont love your job it doesnt really reflect the person you are, but if you do love your job and you actually picked to work somewhere because that is just what you want to do then it could define who you are.

I guess that all depends upon who you are! lol

I have to conduct myself in an entirely different mode when I am at work, so for me in general I would say no, but, I am sure you would learn alot about who I am by watching me work.

Yes...everything we do, say, or are traumatized by can help to define who we are. Society sucks!

GOD I HOPE NOT!!!

I happen to like my job, and my field.

But that isn't all there is to me!

I have a life outside of work - and THAT is more important to me than my job!

(Yes, if I hit Lotto, I'm going to retire! My boss already knows!)

I would say no. Why because you can have many different occupations in a lifetime and when you change jobs that doesn't make you a different person.
