I am 8 weeks pregnant on Tuesday (Baby due on 5th November) this is my fourth pregnancy and I am ravenous all the time - even though I am also feeling sick. The only thing that stops me feeling sick is eating !!!!! Hope that it cheers you up to know that you are not alone. Also I can't fit into my normal jeans but it feels too early to start wearing maternity ones - are you feeling the same?

Through both my pregnancies, I just swelled and swelled all the way through. I ate loads, and I mean loads I was constantly hungry. They reckon you don't need to eat that much extra when you are pregnant. I don't know about that really, I just had to eat, if not I felt sick. Be carefull though I put on 5 stone with my first, I have just about got rid of it all bar 1/2 a stone, and my second is 2 1/2!!! Easy going on tough coming off

That would be me!(Except for the slim part).
First time round I lived off olives and feta cheese (not slimming AT ALL) and this time, even a week before I took my test, I finished a pizza at a restaurant, which NEVER happens...

Don't worry it levels out a bit, you will plateau. But then wait till you breasfeed if you plan to... Lol!

When you're pregnant its not the over eating putting the weight on It's essential body fat that you would gain anyway to support the pregnancy and the child putting weight on them and the water and stuff that goes with them. They also steal all of your nutrients and goodness making you want and need to eat more.

So eat away!

By 8 weeks my pants were too tight. I wasn't showing really, just bloated. I think that the smaller you are to begin with, the faster you will outgrow your normal clothes. It's perfectly normal.

Do make sure you are eating healthy foods though, and of course taking your prenatal vitamins!

I'm only 6 weeks and I've gained 2 pounds--I don't feel fatter--I just feel bloated. My pants still fit--but the closeness on my belly feels uncomfortable. I don't ever button my jeans anymore. As long as you are eating healthy and exercising, then you should be fine. Don't worry about your weight--if you think you've gained too much, just think of it as extra insurance that you have a big, healthy baby.

It's ok but watch your diet. You must have very balanced diet. Lots of vegs&fruits + prenatal vitamins. Avoid completely fast food. Don't forget exercise or just go for a little walk everyday.
Good luck!

yes, I'm 10 weeks pregnant - eating loads due to nausea - so have to constantly eat - and my uterus - waistline looks massive! This is all normal, nothing to worry about - just enjoy it all!!!
